Thrifting diary: April (2)

More great finds at local flea market and car boots

Lovely enamel tin advertising Clinique, but modern so not suitable for Etsy; a fabulous retro cheese board with inset tile which looks very 1970s and a gravy boat with green abstract design

Set of six (yes six!) atomic style liqueur glasses

Three 1950s retro melamine cups and saucers with butter dish

Midwinter teaset in their Nordic pattern

Midwinter teaset in Roselle pattern

Two pieces of German ceramic and a small Viking on horseback. Research tells me that this is a reproduction ceramic chessman from the Isle of Lewis but he really resembles Noggin the Nog. Any ideas?

Some beautiful Portmeirion: two storage jars in the Talisman design and a Totem tankard

Another piece of Midwinter and a hand painted Norwegian plate
Stylish basket in black painted metal

A Blenko art glass decanter and a cute 1970s fabric hedgehog

And finally, an adorable orange and green ceramic owl by Jema of Holland, which doubles up as a money box.
What a great haul!
As always, if anyone wants to buy anything seen in the blog, a 20% discount applies off the online price.

I have been busy with my tax returns this week, but have just about completed them so I will be getting new additions listed as soon as possible. Most will be destined for the Etsy store.

Last Sunday we attended the Atomic Festival at Sywell Aerodrome near Northampton and, though we didn't do any thrifting, we did have a fabulous day!
